Radical Cascade Cyclization of 1,6-Enyne to Access Tricyclic Compounds by Cu/TBHP System

Abstract

We report herein an approach to synthesize cyclopropane derivatives with moderate to very good yields through the Cu-catalyzed radical cyclization of 1,6-enynes in the presence of TBHP as oxidant and the oxygen atom resource. The advantages of this reaction are the formation of three chemical bonds by employing a simple system copper catalyst/TBHP, as well as mild reaction conditions.
