Bimetallic MOFs Derivatives Enabled 3D Carbon Cloth as the Lithium-Sponge for High-Performance Lithium Metal Anode

Abstract

In this study, a composite lithium metal anode (LMA) (CC@Fe2O3/CoFe2O4@Li) based on the derivations of bimetallic FeCo-MOFs has been prepared. It takes only 2 seconds for molten lithium to fully inject into the modified 3D skeletons, just as a lithium-sponge. What’s more, the full cells matched with LiFePO4 cathode was able to cycle stably for 800 cycles at 10 C, along with superior compatibility under high electrode loading conditions.
