Theoretical investigation of carbon dioxide adsorption on MgH2 with a cobalt catalyst
CO2 adsorption mechanisms were investigated on an MgH2 substrate using CO2 activation. Cobalt catalyst enhanced CO2 chemical adsorption on top of Co SAC, while non-catalysed MgH2 induced CO2 physisorption on top of MgH2 interatomic cavities.
