Compositional doping and structure insights for high-performance aqueous Zn-ion batteries†
Abstract
Mn-based materials are considered as promising cathode candidates for aqueous Zn-ion batteries (AZIBs). Herein, Mg2+ incorporation is developed to stabilize MnO, which can promote the reaction kinetics and improve the electrochemical performance. In addition, Mg-doped MnO exhibits 80.7 mA h gā1 reversible capacity after 2000 cycles even at a high rate of 2 A gā1.
