Odd-even Effect on Room-Temperature Phosphorescence for Benzene-Carboxylic Derivatives

Abstract

In this work, a series of benzene-carboxylic derivatives (BCDs)-acrylamide copolymers were prepared. All the obtained copolymers exhibited blue afterglow with durations reaching up to 4.64 s. Besides, an interesting odd-even effect was observed between the number of ester groups and the phosphorescent properties.
