Side chain polymerization for non-conjugated polymer acceptor
Abstract
The typical design strategy for non-conjugated polymer acceptors involves the alternating distribution of small molecule acceptor units and non-conjugated units along the main chain. In this study, we propose a novel design strategy for non-conjugated polymer acceptor and synthesize a non-conjugated polymer acceptor (SPA-1) that incorporates grafted A-DA’D-A type small molecule units within its side chain. The all-polymer solar cells based on PBDB-T:SPA-1 showed a power conversion efficiency (PCE) of 11.16%.
