Formation and organometallic reactivity of iridium(II) octaethylporphyrin dimer
Abstract
Iridium(II) octaethylporphyrin dimer, [Ir(OEP)]2, has been prepared by photolysis of (OEP)IrCH3 in C6D6 solvent, and found to undergo alkene insertion and oxidative addition of alkyl C–H bonds.
