Dynamic self-assembly of molecular capsulesviasolvent polarity controlled reversible binding of nitrate anions with C3 symmetric tripodal receptors

Abstract

A series of N-bridgehead tripodal receptors bearing amide functionality is reported which displays reversible binding of nitrate anions viasolvent polarity controlled molecular capsule formation through a dynamic self-assembly process.
