Growth of molybdate nanorods through an intermediate sustained release process†
Abstract
NaZn2(H3O2)(MoO4)2 as a typical molybdate of natrochalcite compound was synthesized in a microemulsion, and a one dimensional nanosized structure was obtained through the sustained release process. Acidic conditions are critical for the formation of the intermediate nanoflakes, which served as the source for the growth of molybdate
