Base-promoted transition metal-free phosphorylation/acylation of 2-vinyl pyridines with Ph2PCl and carboxylic acids†
Abstract
An efficient and convenient three-component phosphorylation–acylation of 2-vinyl pyridines under mild conditions has been developed. This protocol provides a sustainable and practical strategy for the synthesis of novel α,β-acylphosphinoyl compounds, and this system was easily operated and efficiently scaled up. Mechanism studies indicated that a nucleophilic addition/oxygen transfer process was involved.
