Metal–organic frameworks of p-hydroxybenzoic acid: synthesis, structure and ring opening polymerization capability

Two new, isostructural, MOFs {[Co(O2CC6H4O)(DMF)]2}n and {[Mn(O2CC6H4O)(DMF)]2}n have been synthesised and structurally characterized. Their use as catalysts in the ROP of ε-caprolactone or δ-valerolactone produces mostly cyclic products.

Transport properties of B-site codoped CaHfO3 proton conductors with octahedral distortion

Both proton and oxygen ion mobility initially increase with octahedral distortion angle and then decrease, and CaHf0.8Sn0.1Sc0.1O3−δ with the octahedral distortion angle of 15.6° exhibited the highest ionic mobilities and conductivities.

Colour tuneability of heteroleptic iridium complexes through second-sphere coordination

A series of H-bond-rich iridium(III) complexes with different cyclometalating ligands bearing the general formula [Ir(C^N)2(N^N)] were synthesised. Their photophysical properties were elucidated along with properties imparted by their H-bond host–guest complement.
